I picked up 7 Monty #2 Dogless from a guy the other day that had been a shop for a number of years. They need cleaning up and tuned but were not pitted that I noticed.
Never had dogless before. Don't know anything about them. Are they a good trap?
Any info would be great.
Thanks!

Never dry fire Montgomery traps, the ends of the jaws will break, where they come through the trap frame, due to the strength of the music wire coil springs and the hardness of the jaw metal.
