Well, its finally here upon us, although we may have to change the name to just Trapper Education, because there are quite a few adults attending. Lets see if we can get a list of everyone on the website who is going to attend, and in what capacity. Also, I am looking for a student to do an interview for the newsletter. It will be a pretty simple; ask about experience and expectations before the event and then find out how the class met the expectations and what you learned. If anyone is interested let me know.
I'll be doing the alligator demonstration, hopefully saturday morning(depends on the willingness of the alligators). I'll also help some in the kitchen. I am going to watch a few of the demonstrations, and you'll see me taking lots of pictures. clint

I didn't make it to the event until 8:30. I set my gator hooks early in the day then went to work. We had 18 of 22 paid participants sign in tonight, i assume the rest will be there tomorrow. From what i saw, curtis and tony did a good job with the introductory classroom instruction. We have a full schedule for tomorrow, assuming its not a wash out, then we have a few backup plans.
This looks like a really good crowd, ready and willing to learn. Forum members i recognized tonight: bigc, kirk, tony howard, wesleyb, clintperkins, clint johnson. I know there was a few more there that i did get to meet because i showed up so late, but will see them in the morning.
Also we had a good showing of our officers/board tonight. Bod members: tony howard, ronnie guy, john linzay, wesley blanchard, and clint perkins. president and youth education coordinator: curtis cruise. tomorrow bod member steve hardy will be attending. There was one instructor not there tonight and one that i did not get to talk to.
Like i said, a great weekend is in store!
