Hello from Shreveport... My name is Chris and I just finished my first alligator season. No huge trophy, but I am hooked (Ha, pun intended) and can't wait for next year. I sold my gators to Tony Howard and noticed a Louisiana Trappers and Alligator Hunters graphic on his truck and came looking to see what the fuss is about.
I am interested in doing some trapping I think (time permitting) and figured I'd join up here and see what it'll take to get started.
So thanks for having me, and I look forward to getting to know you guys...

Hello trappers. My name is Heath and i hail from Vidalia. Thats right across the river from Natchez, MS. I have never trapped before but would like to learn the trade. I hunt duck, deer, dove and squirrel and am no stranger to the great outdoors. Ill be posting questions and poking my nose around here for awhile so please take it easy on this ignorant fellow swamplander. Thanks for the awesome forum, and keep up the good work!

Hello Everyone,
My name is Jeff and I live in Crowley area of Acadia Parish. The only trapping experience I have is the occasional live trap and lately I've got a couple of DP's. I'm an avid deer hunter and really enjoy my time in the woods. My goal is to start with coons and venture out as I gain experience. Hopefully selling the occasional fur to offset the expenses. I'm more a lurker/reading that a poster, but I've got lots of questions. Thanks....
