Eric Cottrell, Robert and Jenny Smith and myself went the Red River Refuge today and set up a booth. We had a good crowd and good time talking with all the people from the Shreveport/Bossier City area. People were very receptive to our message and those who weren't did not even stop at the booth. We passed out a number of flyers about the youth education program and also made contact with the director of the Louisiana History Museum in Shreveport. She has asked the LTAHA for our help in setting up a exhibit of Louisiana wild fur and the possible our own glass case of history of trapping in Louisiana. I was gone to get lunch and came back to find Eric talking with Mrs. Coil about all this. Great day, we got to put our message out and had fun doing it.

I wish we could have been there longer but Jenny was worn out. Maybe Eric will tell you about the chupacruba (sp) Jenny is doing better today.
