Hey people, I recently moved down to lake charles area to go to school, and therefore i don't have access to my usual trapping areas. i know i've read about people trapping big rivers and stuff and i'm just curious; can you trap public waterways without having special permission, permits etc?? There's all these bayous just minutes from my place and I know I could really rack up on some otters, rats and coons. Thanks guys!

Seems like you should be able to trap it.
