I know exactly what happened. Either you forgot to put a trap there, or you put it in the wrong place!

Okay. I gave everyone a chance...so here is what really happened....
The canine worked the set from the back side. The lure stick that was knocked down to the right side of the set was probably licked off the rock. Obviously the animal didn't care for the taste of the lure, or he would have taken the stick with him. Once the animal lost interest, he simply hoped down off the rock. The two inside tracks are his front feet, the two outside tracks are his back feet.

What a trap. I witness TWO, not one but TWO coyotes pull out that very same trap in one day. Thank God I was not using them. ;D

Said trap, Is in fine working order as I type this. Had to file some of the jaw latch off. Jaw latch was filed to deep. It was binding on the jaw. I'll get a picture paosted as soon as I can.

Getting to be the best time of the year up here Tony. I believe it was down in the 40-50 range most mornings.
