I have been working a lot! And chores. Like most people in construction, this is the time of year is when your busy. I hoping to start cutting boards for my fur and making a fleshing beam and put up a electric skinning machine. Yes, I have a lot to do by Nov. I'm hoping to be caught up at work this sept. So I can start on my real prioritizes! Jon

Redfish, Shrimp, Crabs, Vegetable garden, mowing the lawn and hitting the beach with the family before school goes back in. Dipping traps next week. Running electricity to fur shed at some point. (no more extension cords). Plenty to do...may wait till Sept.!

I've been working my regular job, and working even harder trying to get everything set to open up my own HVAC company next year.. Very excited about that.. Everybody here gets discounted for any work, except for the guy who outbid me on that really nice knife the association auctioned off at the convention in April.. Your air just ain't gonna work cuz! Lol. At the end of trapping season I clean everything up, dyed/waxed and ready to rock, so when November 21st rolls around I can just kick a hole out the door and hit the trapline running. So much nicer, although I do like dying and waxing in the fall when it starts getting coolER.. Brings back memories, and my wife seems to enjoy cooking so much I usually end up sitting in my lawn chair and keep conversation going while she does all the dying and waxing.. Lol... Now if I could only get her to learn how to skin skunks...
