You have to decided which fur auction you want to ship to, either FHA or NAFA. Which ever one you choose you need to start and account with them. Once you have a account you can ship your fur by account # and it make it way easier. I personally carry my fur to a pick up point in Arkansas and drop off for shipment. You have to have them bagged and sealed with a copy of your account tag in the bag and on the out side of the bag. I would recommend going to the NAFA site and reading up on it.

Tony if you take them to a pick up point do they still charge you shipping on them ? Yes, you pay shipping either way. It is just a reduced price when you take it to a pick up point as most times they will purchase a bulk load shipment and the cost is less. Shipping is okay if you can or want to wait up to a year for your money and or have it strung out over a period of years coming in large and small amounts when and if they sell your product. Some things move some don't. Your fur needs to be put up very well and clean. You send trash, you get trash prices. Local fur buyers pay when sale, shipping pays when your fur sales.

The shipping fees to NAFA are free to the members of the Wild Fur Shippers Council. Membership dues are $100.00 for 5 year membership. Minimum shipping costs are $16.95 if you drop off at a depot. You also save 2% on commission charges. I made my $100 membership fee back my first year with shipping and commission fees.
If your going to send lots of fur, that is the only way to go.
