Who uses what type gun and caliber to dispatch animals in traps

I use a single action 6 shot revolver called a Heritage. I use a 22 short or 22 long. Very humane and works every time. I used to carry a riffle but it kept getting in the way. Love my pistol.

I use the same pistol Wesley does with .22 shorts. simple and reliable.

Old glenfield 22 cal single shot rifle it does get in the way but does the job. I need to invest in a pistol tho.

I have an older model Ruger Single-Six with a 9" barrel,it used to shoot like a rifle before my eyes started to get bad.I shoot .22 shorts,hollow point for dispatch.

been whating a .22 pistol,was going to get a heritage, but my wife surprized we with one, she got me a taurus model 94, it has a 4" bbl ,polished SS, it is also a 9 shot, shots LR,L,S. can not wait to take it out plinking, thanks baby
