Well it is sat evening and the camp has been going great. Last night the wildlife bioligist and game warden visited with us for a while. Learned alot. Tony gave a good down and dirty lesson on ethicsw and showed the basics as far a traps etc. Today the group was split into 3 groups and three instructors showed both land a water trapping. I will try and get some pics up later.
Thanks to Eric and Tony for getting this together. The food has been great! Thanks Carmen Roxie Buddy and crew for the great grub!

The youth ed camp went well. We only had six students but as you know we all learn something when gathered together at such and event. It was a great time had by all and they kids were great, the food was great and location was perfect. Thanks to the LTAHA members ands friends for their support of this event. We had some great food prepared for us by Eric and Carmen Cottrell and members from NWTF (National Wild Turkey Federation). Please add their names Robert. I know Buddy and Roxie Rice, but don't want to mess up the others names. It was a great time with every minute of every hour loaded with something trapping for the kids. They did not have time to think about much other than trapping or going trapping. It was a great time can't wait to do it again.
Instructors were: Clint Johnson (who caught 5 coons) Eric Cottrell who was moping around in a sling after shoulder surgery, Robert Smith who drove Eric every where so he could point how and where to set, Travis King and myself.
Thanks to all that made this possible and I look forward to calling on y'all again.

Well now that the youth ed camp is over, it time to work on all the trapping equipment. I have a pile of stuff to get ready for Dec 1. I can not wait for the season began. Don't know why, I am just pumped about this season.
I am thinking about taking a few of the students that were at the youth ed camp on a line with me this year so they can see a land line in action. Maybe they will get to see a coyote, cat or fox in a set.
