I put together a driver for super stakes yesterday. Seeing how I don't weld I went to lowes and got a 1-1/4 nipple 18" long and two caps. I drilled a hole in the cap on one end and slid a broken heavy socket to the other end to give me the length I needed. The rod is a ground rod i got with the traps and stakes. The head was already mushroomed out so i just made the hole big enough for the rod to slide. Works pretty good! \Now I gotta get a puller put together. Attachments:

WOW! Where did you ever get the idea from? Looks good, how much does it weight? You will need at least 4lbs hammer weight or you will work yourself to death.

LOL good ideas are hard to come by. I bet the puller might look kinda familiar when I get around to it!
I would guess it is close to that. I drove one in the front yard red clay and it took about 6 hits to get 10". Problem is I had to get my son to pull it. It still would have been there if he had not been in town LOL.
I gotta get a welder one day.
