Kisatchie, there will be a trapping education camp the weekend after Labor Day in Baton Rouge at LDWF's Wadill Wildlife Area,if you can make it.Contact Wesley our education director about it,we would enjoy having you attend,if possible. The facilities are top notch and you could bring a youngster or a friend.

Sorry Kisatchie, but it is a good thing that it has been filled up,more people will be introduced to trapping, always a good thing in my book.Looks like there is a need now to have one in north Louisiana, its' all good.Education of trappers and the general public is the key to the future of trapping,we must all do our part to make it so.

if everyone shows up that is supposed to, as of a few days ago, it's filled. A lot of folks I mailed a sign up form to and they have not sent them back. some folks may get a rude awakening when they get there and have to leave.

Wow, I am a bit disappointed that its full in one way, but I am totally excited that there is a strong effort here in La to continue the education. Mostly that people are taking notice and participating in the events that you guys are making available.
I will keep watching and get involved the next opportunity that presents itself. Thanks for the update and y'all keep up the good work!

Wesley,I believe we are riding the wave created by "Swamp People" and God forbid I say it"Billy the Exterminator"(makes the Sign of the Cross).I will take good publicity from Billy over bad publicity from the anti-trapping activists any day.I hope we can handle all of this positive energy,we have been dealing with all the negative feedback for so long,we are kind of stump-broke.I feel like Superman, being on the side of truth, justice, and the American Way.We are truly blessed to be trappers in Louisiana in the twenty-first century, the future will be what we make of it for the trappers, who will follow in our footsteps.
