Just my opinion, but your pattern is not blended well enough. It appears you have use dirt hauled in. I would recommend that you blend the dirt from you bed with the dirt you haul in. Also try to clean the pattern area of leafs so you are not swifting over them. Just my opinion.

yeah i thought so but this area is all thick gumbo clay and has been pretty much under water. I have not had to much success at mixing anything.

It does not take much, just enough to make it look natural. Sometimes that is only a table spoon or two.

Ok I went out this morning with every intention of trying to blend some local dirt in. But when I got there I saw that the light rain from last night had darkened it to where it pretty much matched the surrounding area. I guess i need to dampen carry dirt to match some times. Any how this was waiting for me at one of those sets this morning. Attachments:
