Where you fishing those Creek? Lake or river back water? Course right now the main channel of the river is back water.

Creek you will have to run them things quick to keep cat fish alive in this heat that is for sure. I have not fished all year, mainly because of the outboard problems I had. Got all that taken care of and now it is to hot, no water and no current. I am current fisherman. If the water is not moving, I don't catch well.

Good Looking traps we dont see the slat traps down this way much any more every one has gone to hoop nets
