Well at this point im considering pouring of the oil in the first jar and putting it in a squeeze bottle in a cool place......i aint sure yet if im going to disturb things or not....I dont want the oil to get rotten smelling on me,,and as of now that hasnt happened.

update--I havent poured any oil out of the jars yet......but have noted the jar in the shed-getting "no" direct sun light has a very good strong fish smell--but the oil or juice in the jar is not yellow like the first jar i put in the sun...I try to to post a photo of jar in the shed soon.

Well my experament making some fish oil came out pretty good.It didnt end up smelling rotten and it dont freeze so far down into the 20's.And it attracts critters.Maybe later own when the hunter thin out a little ill set up a trail cam and get some photo's or video.. ;D

Another tip--use glass jars if you plan on leaving fish brewing till you need it.My 2 glass jars didnt get cloudy,,but my plastic one i left brewing did.The plastic jar had a slight taint smell. The glass jars smelled just like the mackeral i used.

PS. Back in the day,,i never used just plain fish oil at the water sets i did for coon.I like to nail a fish head to the cypress tree along the swamps edge.So i had fish smell and sight attracting them.

Found another use for fish oil.I loaded a few drops in the syringe with my crappie nibbles. The fish oil is loaded with salt.Seems to increase the number of small bass while jigging for white perch!

No been running dogs and yo yo ing.The reaction going to be the same as it would be to any fish oil.I am interest to see how the plastic jar with the cloudy oil with the tainted smell going to work, compared to the glass jars that just smell like mackeral and look like well refined fish oil.
