Clint, that looks pretty decent, but i am a water trapper... I could give u a few tips, but i wish that some of the topnotch coyote trappers(hardy!) would come out the woodwork and help you. If they won't ill give you my 2 cents.

Im gunna try my hardest to come. I dont use a pancover and never have.Ive never had any problems with it. I normally use a #2 at my dirtholes but that 1.65 was all I had in my truck.I try to put the pan any where from 5 to 9 inches from the hole. Any tips would be appreciated.
Yea, that that dont kill me, can only make me stronger, I need you to hurry up now! cause I cant wait much longer!

I would have to make a video. I do not set like most other trappers. I set close to the hole. I also put all my lure and or bait in the hole. If you know where the animals nose is, you know where his foot will be. I set real clost to the hole and use a mild non rotten lure to make him stick his nose in the hole.
check out this coyotes reaction to a moulk dirt hole. This video was taken right at daylight so there is no color as the night lights were still working.
Check out this gray fox doing the pole dance. Can you guess where the lure is? Look where his feet are also.
My mind is as sharp as a steel trap, with off set jaws.
