I had read a post from Mr. Keller from last year about spring loaded snares for hogs. I have reason to inquire about them do to a possible job. I have seen the leg style with he was talking about and also a neck snare style. Both work off the same basic principle from what i can tell. Now I ask who has used them and what type of success have you had....

4leaux,get in touch with Newt at SnareOne.com.He will be a good source of information on snaring hogs,with any type of snare and he will have what you will want or need in stock,probably.Good luck.

i have used a Belisle Foot Snares for coyote. had a coyote in the snare and when i walked up it ran off like it was never in the trap. after inspection the coyote chewed throug the 3/32 cable. the trap worked but the cable didnt hold

Thanks guys. I picked up a couple locally for a special need job. I think a coon may have tripped it. So target not caught. Will test them out more later im sure.
