I would like to know what type and size of trap caught the most animals on your line this season. For me,it was the old, reliable 220 conibear here in Louisiana and it was the 1.75 coilspring in New Mexico,if you count skunk catches. When you get right down to it,traps catch animals, traps set by knowledgeable trappers.

Steve,I have a dozen #3 B&L double long springs,I treasure them and only use them on private land to avoid theft. My #3 Victor double long springs were a close second to my #1.75 Victor coil springs in New Mexico. They were all set in exposed trail sets with a sandpaper and window screen insert slipped on the pan to give a more inviting place for the animals to step on in the heavily blocked down exposed set on a well used trail with bobcat tracks in a known or obvious bobcat location.

Gail, I've been collecting my Blakes for years. last count, I had over 600 of them. the only time that i use my newhouse and 3-n's is when i'm on private land.

Didn't get to trap much this year everything was in Duke DPs or Lil Grizz.
